The R-392/URR is the compact, ruggedised member of the family, built for vehicle and field use. It covers 0.5 to 32 MHz and runs from a 28 V DC supply, which also serves as the plate voltage for its tubes. It was normally paired with the T-195 transmitter in the AN/GRC-19 radio set.
