The Hollow State Newsletter (HSN) was the primary technical publication of the R-390A community from its founding by Les Locklear of Gulfport, Mississippi. For approximately seven years the newsletter shepherded the collective technical knowledge of the world’s most dedicated community of military receiver restorers — alignment procedures, modification designs, DSP applications, parts sourcing, historical research, and restoration standards that no other publication captured.

This index maps all 53 issues by article title, author, and subject category. Use the search box and topic cross-reference to navigate the archive. For the digital archive itself, see the HSN Archive page.

Index compilation note: This topic index was compiled from the HSN archive, the r-390a.net Pearls of Wisdom collection, community-contributed article lists, and the R-390 reflector archive. Entries marked with ‡ are reconstructed from community citations and secondary references where original pagination was not directly verifiable. Callsigns and affiliations are credited as they appeared in the original issues. Index compiled by Mike Peace VK6ADA  ·  r-390a.net Administrator.
Filters the table below in real-time — works on article titles, authors, and topics.
