The Hollow State Newsletter (HSN) was the primary technical publication of the R-390A community from its founding by Les Locklear of Gulfport, Mississippi. For approximately seven years the newsletter shepherded the collective technical knowledge of the world’s most dedicated community of military receiver restorers — alignment procedures, modification designs, DSP applications, parts sourcing, historical research, and restoration standards that no other publication captured.
